Many people at my house
24-07-2009 On this day is something extraordinary happened into my house. Suddenly 
arrived many people where I live, with a purpose; fill out forms to apply for the passport and residence permit. At 08:00 we started and ended at 14:00, then we made a break to eat. After lunch we continued our work and we went ahead until 19:00, but despite the hard work many people are left without solve anything, in As all members of UNGA were tired of having worked for 8 hours straight.

alle ore 21:00 di sera, ma anche dopo che noi avevamo finito di mangiare c’erano due famiglie, una aveva chiesto se poteva collaborare con l’Unione il giorno dopo, invece l’altra per riempire soltanto un foglio. poliziotti e carabinieri di sicurezza e persone per fare i passaporti, permessi di soggiorno … in questo grande evento, ho partecipato aiutando a fare alcune fotocopie. Abbiamo fatto la pausa alle 14:00 e subito dopo ricominciato, finendo alle ore 18:00, perché i funzionari dell’ambasciata dovevano rientrare a Roma. Chiara there were lots of police and carabineers to security and many people to make passports, residence permits … in this great event, I was helping to make some photocopies. Tengo a precisare che quel giorno anche io ho fatto domanda del mio primo passaporto e per far questo ho aspettato pazientemente il mio turno, pur avendo lavorato per UNGA. Grazie ad UNGA mio padre ha risparmiato le spese di trasporto per Roma, la giornata di lavoro, ecc… I would like to say that on this day I too have applied for my first passport and to this I patiently waited my turn, despite having worked for UNGA. Thanks to UNGA my father was spared the cost of transport to Rome, the day’s work etc …
Secondo me, questa giornata è stata indimenticabile , e vorrei ringraziare la UNGA e tutti quelli che mi hanno reso partecipe. To me, this day was unforgettable, and I would like to thank the UNGA and all those who have made my partecipation possible too.
